Loren Barrigar earns a standing ovation at The Sammy Awards show at the Oncenter in Syracuse New York. Loren has won 3 SAMMY Awards. The Syracuse Area Music Awards has been around since 1993 and Loren has earned Multiple Instrumentalist Of The Year awards as well as Best Country CD 2009 {Dance With Me}

Loren is the youngest instrumentalist to ever appear on The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee. Loren was 6 years old when he appeared at the Ryman Auditorium with Jim Ed Brown and Minnie Pearl in April of 1968. He played 'Steel Guitar Rag' and 'Yackety Axe' He appeared with his Dad Ken who played rhythm guitar.{you can see the neck of his guitar behind Lorens head}
